Brooklyn pilot Chaim Masri, 46, crashed his small plane while touching down at Essex County Airport in Fairfield, N.J.
A Brooklyn pilot crashed a small plane during a landing at a New Jersey airfield Monday, but escaped with only minor injuries, the authorities said.
Chaim Masri, 46, of Midwood, flipped his single-engine Cessna 172 after touching down at Essex County Airport in Fairfield.

The plane “veered off the runway to the left, striking a snow bank and then overturning,” Fairfield Deputy Police Chief Anthony Manna told local media.
Masri hurt his leg and declined medical attention. His father confirmed early Tuesday, “He’s fine. He told me he’s OK.”
